Hopefully you read the post by my little girl. Her name is Kaleigha. I am a very blessed young lady, the Lord has shown His great love through the many hands that support APFU. My daughter and myself are very grateful for all the ways we are cared for through this ministry.
I was pregnant and homeless when I arrived at APFU with no where to go, a crushed spirit and a broken heart. I have been disappointed by many. I put my confidence in people and now I have learned that Jesus is my support system. I did not have the confidence that I could even pass my GED. But I passed that with flying colors and now maintain an “A” in my studies at Piedmont Tech. I do not say that to boost in myself, but because of God’s faithfulness. I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me! Philippians 4:13 My name is Karen….and My Story Matters!
