I am a thankful mom that came from being pregnant and homeless, someone without hope, to finding out who I am in Christ. I am now parenting my daughter Maylah at APFU residential home. I am currently studying for my GED, learning parenting skills, attending Bible studies and budgeting classes. I am able to work on job skill training and resume building each day as I serve in a volunteer role in the Secret Place (where clothes and household items are donated). I am learning that God will supply all of my needs according to His glorious riches in Christ Jesus… This is very hard for me… because I have learned to be a survivor in my own strength. My anger controlled me for many years and it is still something I am having to work on every day. God is showing me although many times we may not be able to rely on our earthly parents… We can always rely on our heavenly father. My name is Keema and My Story Matters.
