I am two months old… My mom is a current resident at APFU. I believe God has plans to use me and my story to share the beauty of open adoption. My birth mommy chose to bless another family by allowing them to raise me and helping train me to be a great man of God one day. The foot pictured here is mine… My parents are praying that they will be the feet to spread the good news one day.
I am adjusting really well and love my sister; Her name is Hannah. My mom and dad take really good care of me, and they also check in on my birth mommy, and they share with me how well she is doing. They tell me how much she loves me. I am learning already at this early age how much she loves me and Jesus does too! I get to visit with her next month and I am sure I will get lots of hugs and kisses. Me and my family spent the first two weeks of my life with her and she planned a really nice dedication service for me where I was dedicated to the Lord.
See many times… It is a blessing when birth moms realize they want better for their child than they are able to offer. As we read the bible we will find that adoption was God’s plan in the very beginning. He even adopts us unto Himself.
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ, just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love, having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will, to the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He made us accepted in the Beloved.
